This term, a selection of girls from Year 8-10 participated in the Into Acting Workshops, which have run at school every Thursday for the past 9 weeks. This week, their work culminated in an informal presentation of monologues and duologues in front of their parents and peers. Girls presented a wide variety of pieces, many of which challenged and pushed them out of their comfort zone. I hope this opportunity has successfully given girls an insight into the commitment and hard work expected from a Drama School student. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris Thorpe for preparing the girls so thoroughly and to congratulate the girls for all their efforts in preparing for this week’s presentation and committing to such thoughtful and well-rounded performances. It is always so heart-warming to watch the array of talent on display at RHS and I am already looking forward to next year’s productions! Please find a selection of rehearsal photos below:
