On Monday 1^st July, several girls from years 7-10 took part in in a Choreography Competition, performing to their peers in the Sophie Cameron Theatre. For many this was the first time that the girls have created and shared their own work in front of an audience.

The standard of work created was fantastic, demonstrating creativity and originality. What was most pleasing to see was the real supportive nature the girls had, encouraging and cheering one another on. It really was a difficult task to select from a number of very strong entries, and suggests that next year’s Annual Dance Showcase must not be missed!

A huge congratulations to all of the girls who took part. This year’s awards go to:

Solo Choreography Awards: Isabelle Wilkins (Yr 7) and Veronica Gomard (Yr10)

Group Choreography Award: Bella McIntyre (Yr 9), Freya McIntyre (Yr 7) and Yvie Woods (Yr 7)

Audience Favourite Award: Elly Boardman, Martha Frank, Chloe Moorhouse and Anja Woosman (Yr8)
