My sculpture is made up of a girls body with a computer head which connects it to our school and how we represent the power of women in society and technology. It will be made up of recycled papers from notes used in practice for our exams and various computer hardware pieces from old computers - Elisa Illingworth

Computer Science student Elise Illingworth took some time off after her GCSE exams to make a fantastic sculpture using recycled computer parts and some of her revision notes! It is a representation of how important it is to get girls involved in our technological future. It is currently on display in the computer room and is getting lots of positive comments from everyone who sees it. I would like to thank Elise for her creativity and commitment.
