Archery

Last Saturday, the Year 9 and 10s went to play archery. We were split into different groups and each group given an instructor who taught us the correct technique and helped hone our aim. We then had a competition where we each had 6 arrows and the person with the highest score won. The first and second place got a medal. Veronica and Catherine came first and second in the first group, and Hannah Wu and Holly came first and second in the second group. It was a lovely day and all of us had so much fun in the sun. I think we all really enjoyed the day out.

Aqua Park

On Sunday, the boarders went to the Aqua Park in the New Forest. The Aqua Park is a giant inflatable obstacle course on a lake. It was great fun! There were lots of fun and challenging parts we had to get across, like small walkways, rope swings and bouncy hills. There were also tall towers you could climb up and jump off, trampolines and slides! An hour flew by when we were enjoying ourselves on the enormous floating structure in the middle in the lake.
