Daisy Jackson in Year 7 has achieved a stunning level of success in the world of playwriting! Both Daisy, and Miranda (previously mentioned) have written plays which have been selected to be performed at the Egg theatre in April.

Daisy had the following to say about her experience:

"My play, ’10 Second Rule’, is being performed as part of the ‘Out of Your Mind’ festival and will be showcased alongside two other plays written by other members of the theatre school. They will all be performed over the Easter holidays, on the evening of the April 4th.

As a member of the Theatre Royal Bath Theatre School, there was an opportunity for me to write and submit a play to be performed at the Egg, the smaller building linked with the Theatre Royal, where the theatre school is held. Being able to watch my play become a reality and meeting my cast was great for me and helped me develop my skills in drama! I was also able to meet my director, Chloe, and I have been able to get professional advice from her. I have been a member of the theatre school for 10 years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. From playwriting to acting and even helping to make the set, the theatre school has allowed me to participate in a range of roles during my time there, and I am thoroughly grateful for all the advice and support they have given me throughout the years.

Tickets for the ‘Out of Your Mind’ festival are available to buy on the Theatre Royal website, and it would be lovely to see you there!"
