Year 8A Hockey Team vs Prior Park - Tournament

The 8A team had a fantastic afternoon of hockey on Wednesday 18 September at the Prior Park A Team Hockey Tournament. The team played 4 games in the group stage, coming top of their group over Milfield, Prior Park, King Edwards and Monkton. They then faced Clifton College in the final, the match was thrilling, hard-fought and very close with the Royal High 8A’s narrowly missing out but coming a very respectable 2nd place overall. The whole team deserves player of the tournament for their determination and team spirit but there is no doubt that Ruby Butterfield has a special mention for amazing saves throughout the afternoon, keeping the girls in contention!

Playing were: Ruby Butterfield, Emily Jones, Sophie Jones, Mabel Everett-Heath, Freya McIntyre, Rosie Brook, Eva Helly-Osborne, Seren Davies, Kitty Allan, Jojo Knechtli.

Netball vs Millfield

RHS 1st VII and U14 AVII Netball Teams travelled to Millfield. The 1sts were superb, winning 40-34 and the U14s narrowly lost to a strong opposition.

U15B Hockey Teams vs Prior Park

Fantastic performances all round and really exciting to see the teams progressing so well on Saturday 21st September.

Good luck to the U16s next week in the Prelim rounds of the County Tournament.

This was a hard-fought game with both sides looking to gain the upper hand throughout. The hard work from the Royal High Team gave the girls the majority of the play in their attacking half and they were unlucky not to score a winning goal with the end result an honourable 0-0 draw. Player of the match Adriana Crespo

In the team were: Carlotta Fedrizzi, Ruby Darby, Anastasiia Tynko, Jemima Honeybourne, Sara Hussein, Darcy Atheryon, Alena Bull, Sofia Skidmore, Adriana Crespo, Coco Hiatt and Eloisa Lunn
