U15A vs Llandaff Cathedral School L 18-24

This was a very exciting competitive game with Llandaff taking the lead in the first quarter 4-8, despite shooters Lola and Captain Claudia converting every chance. The RHS U15 A team came close to drawing level in the second quarter, reducing the visitors lead to 2 goals with great work from Ellie, Anastasia and Amelie in defence to recycle the ball combining well with midcourt players Amy and Olivia, followed by deft shooting from Bella and Claudia. The girls showed great resilience and commitment in the third quarter with midcourt driving to space and moving the ball to post, enabling them to narrowly win the quarter by one goal and be in sight of equalling the scoreline. However, the final quarter say Llandaff surge ahead and the game finished in their favour. Player of the match Bella and coaches player going to the whole team.

Sat 1st Feb U12 vs Walhampton Prep School (RHS won 16-4)

The RHS U12s played against a touring team from Walhampton Prep School at the weekend and the match proved to be a fantastic experience for both schools. RHS took the lead in the first quarter 4-1 and then managed to stay ahead, averaging 4 goals per quarter. Elianah was voted as the defensive player of the match for her work rate in the defensive circle, intercepting the feeds into the Walhampton shooters and Cesca was voted as the attacking player of the match, for her movement off the ball and helping to keep the scoreline ticking over for RHS.
