Revision Rounders

On Sunday, Year 7 and 8 played rounders! We were split into two mixed teams and each team had an opportunity to bat and field, we had a really fun time and got to eat some cookies afterwards. Unfortunately, I was in the losing team but the winning team were very happy.

Croquet and Afternoon Tea

Last Sunday, May 12th, most of the year 10s gathered around at two in the afternoon on the field under the big hot sun. Although we all were sweating a lot, we had lots of fun because we played croquet together. There were twelve of us and so we had four teams of three (blue, red, black and yellow), we needed to take turns according to the order of the colours on the centre stick. It was the first time for most of us to play croquet and so we tried hard to find out better ways to win the game. We played three rounds in total but my team won none of them. The blue team won twice and became the winner, the red team also did well and won once. The game was very fun and we all enjoyed it very much, I think it will be a good idea to do croquet again at another weekend. After that, we came back to the boarding house and had some afternoon tea that was prepared for us, there were cakes, sandwiches and sausage rolls. All of us had a great time that day.

Revision Fitness

I do fitness and running every morning because I am preparing for the summer. So we asked our teachers to make something hard and effective for us. Ms Matthews and Ms Cornick decided to make F45 training. We did it outside because the weather was so good. It was perfect hard training in the fresh air. We did each exercise three times but with different time management. And of course, at the end we spent 10 minutes doing stretching because without it we wouldn’t be able to move the next morning. I am so happy that in this school we can do modern training that help us to be fit.
